The "Hymn of Life" documentary by Ukrainian director Vlad Stankevich is now available on the Megogo streaming platform. The filming was accomplished owing to our partners – Metinvest Group and DTEK.
"The Hymn of Life" consists of seven short films, which premiered at the "Zhovten" сinema in Kyiv in late May. The film has recently become available to the general public on the Megogo streaming platform.
The film tells the personal stories of Ukrainians who, despite the difficulties of a full-scale war, continue to work and help the country in its fight against the enemy. Among them are residents of industrial cities such as Zaporizhzhia, Kryvyi Rih and Pokrovsk. These people have devoted their lives to mining and metallurgical production at Metinvest's enterprises. Their work ensures the sustainability of the country's economy. In addition, in their spare time, the heroes volunteer to support the Armed Forces of Ukraine and civilians.
"I came to study and work at the GOK in 2017. Our team is a small family. We support each other under any circumstances", says Iryna BABENKO, the film's protagonist. “After the outbreak of a full-scale war, together with my husband, we delivered food and other necessary items to the defenders` positions. When my husband was mobilised, I stayed in Kryvyi Rih. First of all, for his sake. He is defending his country and his family. This is our home.
