The major repair of the cable trestle is going on at the coke-chemical site of Kamet-Stal, which is essential for the uninterrupted power supply of the production. Main cable lines are concentrated on this leading overpass, which supply all units of coke-chemical production of the enterprise. Currently, major repair works are being carried out on the site along coke battery #5.

A complete replacement of metal structures that support cable lines and metal structures of work sites for maintenance of the main electric cable lines is being carried out. Specialist contractors manufacture metal structures directly at the plant – on specially designated sites for this purpose.
– The main goal of this capital repair is to increase the reliability of the power supply of the coke-chemical industry, to eliminate emergency situations on the overpass that could damage the main cables. To do this, we carry out a complete renewal of metal structures that have lost their strength during long-term operation. The repair efforts also should increase the safety of work and improve the working conditions of electrical installers, who systematically restore these cable lines within the framework of current repairs, – says Oleksiy MYKHAILICHENKO, repair master of the electrical installation of the entire network and substation.
