First aid kits, Camouflage Nets and Tasty Food: Zaporizhstal Volunteers Continue to Support the Military

Zaporizhstal's youth send medicines and supplies to the frontline.

Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, the youth of Zaporizhstal Iron and Steel Works have rallied around a common cause – supporting the soldiers defending Ukraine at the front line. For more than two years, young steel makers have been collecting various necessary supplies for the soldiers and sending them to the front line. Along with hand-baked tasty things.

Recently, the plant's activists visited the front line again. During this trip, volunteers of the youth organisation of Zaporizhstal handed over camouflage nets, tactical first aid kits, paramedic backpacks and haemostatic drugs to our military in the Zaporizhzhia sector.

The defenders were also treated to a delicious homemade pilaf and tasty food – biscuits of own production, sweets, home-made canned vegetables and fruits, energy drinks, etc.

"We are constantly in touch with the guys, including those from Zaporizhstal on the front line: we are interested in how we can help our fighters with our resources. After all, our organisation brings together many caring and active volunteers. Thanks to this cohesion, we can quickly respond to the requests of our defenders and deliver this assistance on time," said Oleg DONETS, leader of Zaporizhstal's youth organisation.
