The youth from Zaporizhzhia donated humanitarian aid to the Red Cross Society

The youth organisation of Zaporizhstal donated clothes and food.

Support and care for those who are in dire need have always been a priority for the youth of Zaporizhstal, and volunteering has become a good tradition. And with the start of a full-scale war in Ukraine, the work in this area has only been intensified.

Since the early days of russia's military aggression, the youth organisation of Zaporizhstal organised a humanitarian hub, which is still operating today. The youth provide diverse aid to Ukrainian defenders, IDPs, residents of front-line settlements and Zaporizhzhia, who are in dire need.

The youth organisation of the plant has recently donated about 500 kg of summer clothes and 100 kg of food products to the Dnipro and Khortytsa Red Cross Societies.

"Now in Ukraine there are no those who could not do something useful. And we also try not to stand aside, to support the military and civilians. There are people who lost everything they had in the literal sense. Therefore, this support is especially important for them. And the words of gratitude that we hear almost every day inspire us to continue with this, for as long as it takes," said Anatoliy SHYRMA, leader of the Zaporizhstal youth organisation.

Also, summer clothes were given to a humanitarian organisation which provides assistance to IDPs in Pologivskyi district. In total, the youth handed over about 3000 kg of things.

As we wrote earlier, not only people, but also animals receive care and help from Zaporizhstal employees. For more than a year, Zaporizhstal volunteers have regularly taken care of the “Give a paw, friend” dog shelter, donate food, offal.
