Metinvest enterprises in Zaporizhzhia increased tax payments by 20% in the first half of 2025

JV "Zaporizhstal", PJSC "Zaporozhogneupor", PJSC "Zaporizhcoke" and LLC "Zaporizhzhya Casting and Mechanical Works" for six months of 2025 transferred a total of almost UAH 1.7 billion in taxes and fees to the budgets of all levels, which is 20% more than in the same period last year.

Despite the challenges and economic difficulties caused by the war, Zaporizhzhia enterprises of Metinvest remain among the biggest taxpayers and a strong pillar of the Zaporizhzhia region and Ukraine.

In the structure of taxes and duties for this period, the largest deductions were made as a single personal income tax and a single social security tax. It is worth noting that Metinvest increased the salaries at its production and service enterprises, including those in Zaporizhzhia, by up to 20% in April 2025.

Environmental, land and military taxes also accounted for a significant share of payments.

Metinvest Group's enterprises remain among the largest taxpayers in Zaporizhzhia. Tax revenues to local budgets totalled over UAH 543 million in the first half of 2025, which is 10% higher than the corresponding figure for 2024.

Additionally, the Company's enterprises remain among the largest employers in the region and implement socially important safety, humanitarian, educational, and infrastructure projects for the city and its residents.

Including associated companies and joint ventures, Metinvest Group paid UAH 9.3 billion in taxes and fees to budgets of all levels in Ukraine in the first half of 2025.

As a reminder, Metinvest remains the largest taxpayer in the mining and metallurgical complex of Ukraine. Last year, the company paid UAH 19.8 billion in taxes and fees, accounting for 61% of the total deductions of Ukrainian metallurgical enterprises. Amid the full-scale war, this represents a significant contribution to supporting Ukraine's economy. At the same time, the company continues to support the army and Ukrainian civilians, and makes plans for the future to take part in the country's post-war reconstruction.
