Kamet Steel is implementing best practices to improve working conditions and staff comfort. New coffee and snack vending machines have been installed in the administration and amenity buildings of the production shops.
A total of eight coffee and four snack vending machines have been installed, offering a wide range of products: biscuits, sweets, crisps, fizzy drinks, etc. The first snack vending machine was installed in the administrative building of the BOF Shop, which offers hot dogs, vareniki and other portioned snacks to steelmakers.
The vending system at Kamet Steel was organised under an outsourcing agreement. When selecting an external partner, the enterprise assessed the company's reputation and proven positive track record, as well as the quality of the products, containers and packaging it offers to steelmakers. A positive Sanitary and Epidemiological Service conclusion and a certificate of conformity were also a prerequisite for cooperation. Under the terms of the contract, the vending machines will be filled with products, collected, serviced and repaired by the owners.
