Four Years of Full-Scale Invasion: Rinat Akhmetov Allocates Over UAH 13.5 Billion to Support the Armed Forces of Ukraine and Civilians
SCM businesses, the Rinat Akhmetov Foundation, the “Heart of Azovstal” initiative, and Shakhtar FC have allocated $368 million (more than UAH 13.5 billion) to support Ukraine, its Armed Forces, and civilians over four years of the full-scale russian invasion.The key areas of support include assistance to the Armed Forces of Ukraine, programs for support of the defenders of Mariupol and their families, veteran support initiatives, education programmes, aid to civilians and local communities, as well as memorial and advocacy projects.Support for Ukraine’s defenders is delivered systematically under the Rinat Akhmetov's Steel Front military initiative. Through the Steel Front, military units across the country receive free-of-charge equipment and supplies, including ammunition, vehicles, armored personnel carriers, ambulances for military medics, drones, thermal imagers, optical sights, radios, surveillance cameras, clothing and footwear, first-aid kits and tourniquets, fuel, and other e
