Metinvest’s engineering subsidiary, Metinvest Sichstal, has presented a modular steel social-housing system developed within the Steel Dream concept for Ukraine’s reconstruction. Serhii Tkachenko, Programme Director at Metinvest Sichstal, announced the project at the Ukrainian Building Congress (UBC) in Kyiv.The UBC is one of the largest events in Ukraine’s construction and architecture sector, drawing more than 6 000 participants, including developers, builders, architects, investors and public officials. The congress staged 40 panel discussions with over 300 speakers on post-war infrastructure recovery, attracting investment, sustainable development, environmental standards, affordable housing and permitting reform. Metinvest Central Iron Ore has successfully completed a recertification audit confirming H&S compliance with requirements of ISO 45001:2018.ISO 45001 is a standard that establishes requirements for H&S systems, ensuring safe working conditions and preventing injuries and occupational diseases among the enterprise’s employees.
