Power of Support: Metinvest's Enterprise in Zaporizhzhia Held a Donor Campaign

A donor campaign to collect blood for the needs of city hospitals took place at Zaporizhcoke. To help patients requiring urgent medical attention, 32 employees of the enterprise joined the initiative and donated blood. Overall, over 15 litres of blood were donated during the campaign, which means dozens of potentially saved lives. "Blood donation is about responsibility and humanity for me. We often think that saving someone's life requires heroic actions; however, sometimes it is enough to come and donate blood. This is not difficult, but can be crucial for someone," shared Maksym SHAPOVALOV, Head of the By-product Capture Shop. Today, the need for donor blood in Zaporizhzhia remains high and continues to grow, especially because of hostilities. Blood is required for surgeries, treating the injured, assisting affected civilians, patients with serious illnesses, women in labour, and people who need urgent blood transfusions. By the Method of Olympian: Veterans in Zaporizhzhia Attend Free Swimming Sessions

The "Free Waves" rehabilitation programme for veterans through swimming has been operating for almost two years in Zaporizhzhia, Kryvyi Rih, and Kamianske. These free swimming sessions are designed to restore the physical and mental condition of service members and veterans after injuries and combat-related stress. In Zaporizhzhia, the initiative is implemented by the NGO "Zaporizhzhia. Platform for Joint Action" with support from Metinvest Group in coordination with Zaporizhstal. The programme is based on the methodology of Olympic medallist Denys Sylantiev, combining an individual approach with effective aquatic rehabilitation techniques. The main idea is gentle recovery of the body without overloading the joints and spine, as well as the gradual restoration of mobility and proper breathing. Veteran Help Platform Launched in Zaporizhzhia to Support Service Personnel and Veterans

All key services for military personnel, veterans, and their families have been brought together in a single platform. In Zaporizhzhia, new tools to support veterans – namely the multifunctional Veteran Help platform and an updated services guide – have been presented. Veteran" project. As part of this initiative, a discussion panel was held at one of the educational institutions in the Inhulets district. Metinvest ranks among Ukraine’s top three private investors during the war, according to NV

Metinvest Group has been named one of the three largest private investors in Ukraine during the full-scale war, according to NV magazine.The publication has compiled its first-ever ranking of the 50 largest domestic investors, which together invested UAH454.7 billion in Ukraine’s economy over the four years of the full-scale invasion. Metinvest Digital, the digital transformation partner of Metinvest Group, has been ranked among the five largest in-house IT companies of Ukrainian businesses by Forbes Ukraine.The broader list of IT subsidiaries of Ukraine’s largest companies was compiled based on two Forbes Ukraine rankings: 30 Digitalisation Champions, and 202 Largest Companies.
