An international psychological support project for children called Hibuki therapy is ongoing in Zaporizhzhia.The participants of the project are children, including those from families of servicemen, veterans, and internally displaced persons. During the sessions, their main helper is Hibuki, a little dog who loves to cuddle. Hibuki therapy is an Israeli methodology that uses a therapeutic toy – a cuddly dog – to improve a child’s psycho-emotional well-being, which is currently a very relevant issue in Ukraine, and particularly in Zaporizhzhia. “Hugs are, in fact, the simplest thing we can use to comfort our children in almost any situation. That is why the Hibuki toy, which continuously hugs the child while they go about their activities, creates this therapeutic effect. The upgrade of main steelmaking equipment is the focus of this year's capital repair programme at Kamet-Steel. Repair works have begun on one of the key facilities – BOF No. 1. This year, following the company's objectives, primary attention is concentrated on upgrading energy equipment, particularly the BOF's gas exhaust duct, where a significant portion of equipment will be replaced with new components. This includes tuyeres and auxiliary caissons, the lower part of the main caisson (known as the "skirt"), and protective screens. Work on replacing components and parts of these units has already begun. As part of the capital repairs, the stator and rotor of the flue gas blower electric motor in the gas exhaust duct will also be replaced. As part of Rinat Akhmetov's Steel Front military initiative, Metinvest has begun producing steel screens for Soviet-era MT-LB multi-purpose towing vehicles. These armoured vehicles are widely used on the frontlines and require adaptation to meet modern challenges, particularly threats from FPV drones.MT-LB is a lightweight tracked armoured vehicle actively used for transportation of personnel and as a platform for various weapon systems. However, its thin armour provides no protection against modern threats, making it these vehicles frequent targets for kamikaze drones.
