The successful mastering of round-27 is the result of teamwork of the rolling process specialists together with the specialists of the technical department of the enterprise and the calibration bureau headed by the chief calibrator Serhiy Melnyk. The accuracy of calculations of process parameters, together with the experience of previous works, made it possible to obtain high-quality and competitive products in accordance with the requirements of the state standard.

"In response to the challenges of the time, we promptly respond to market conditions and have learned to make quick decisions in the development of new products, which are necessary, first of all, for Ukrainian consumers. The new standard size of the round section was developed in record time, first of all, due to the optimal use of the previous experience of the entire staff of the rolling shop and, in particular, the process team No. 1 headed by senior shift production foreman Andriy Marchenko and senior mill roller Serhiy Radochyn. Also, internal material and technical resources were used to the maximum, thanks to which it was possible to avoid the stage of pilot rolling and speed up the development. The first 300 tonnes of round-27 have already been shipped to domestic customers", says Oleksandr OLIYNYK, chief roller operator of Kamet Steel.

It is worth reminding, the round section with a diameter of 27 mm is the second "novelty" that Kamet Steel's roller operators have added to the company's steel product range since the beginning of the year. In April, SVP-33 shaped section for miners of Ukraine was mastered at the round tube mill.
