The Central GOK continues to implement the employee training program. Recently, the plant's specialists underwent a three-day training on the organization of safe work performance using lifting cranes and machines.

Training and hands-on skills practice were conducted based on the training centres of the Central GOK's beneficiation plant in conditions close to real ones. The main task of the trainers was to provide employees with the opportunity to see and be able to prevent conventional risks and dangers on the "production site".

Serhiy Shatov, the experienced instructor of Metinvest Polytechnic, shared his knowledge with CGOK's employees. The specialist is sure that in order for the work shift to be productive, it is not enough just to know the points prescribed in the HSE instructions and follow the technology. Effective work is considered only when it is performed safely and without violations.

During the theoretical part of the training, specialists considered the issues of legislation and the basic rules of work performance, starting with the preparation and assessment of actions and risks. In practice, participants practiced skills during various work formats, including in non-standard situations. 

24 employees of CGOK from among the line managers of structural divisions took part in the training. Another 24 specialists will be trained in September.
