Metinvest Group and the Rinat Akhmetov Foundation have purchased vital medical supplies to provide emergency medical care to people affected by the hostilities. The first batch of more than UAH30 million in medical supplies and equipment has already arrived at the humanitarian hub and will soon be distributed among hospitals in the cities where the Group operates

Rinat Akhmetov and Vadym Novynskyi’s Metinvest has responded to the requests of hospitals and identified a list of necessary medicines in coordination with the Ukrainian Ministry of Health. In particular, the Group has purchased antibiotics, anti-inflammatory, analgesic and haemostatic drugs, anticoagulants, solutions for intravenous infusions, surgical instruments and consumables, intubation gear and other medical supplies. Future deliveries of medical supplies will be made based on requests from medical institutions.
Earlier, Rinat Akhmetov and Vadym Novynskyi’s Metinvest Group delivered 1,610 medical kits to four medical facilities in Zaporizhia. Metinvest Group also allocated about UAH700,000 for the purchase of vital medical supplies.
