As part of Rinat Akhmetov's Steel Front military initiative, 630 bulletproof vests of the 4th class of protection were delivered to the military.

One of the main areas of Metinvest's activities in time of the war is to help Ukrainian defenders. In particular, the company provides bulletproof vests and helmets to its employees mobilized to the Armed Forces of Ukraine and other soldiers defending Ukraine. They are regularly delivered to the soldiers.

Recently, 630 bulletproof vests were delivered to the military as part of Rinat Akhmetov's Steel Front military initiative. The reliable armour produced by Metinvest will protect the lives of the soldiers who have undergone combat training and are sent to the front line to defend Ukraine.

Military says that the main advantage of such vests is their low weight and strong armour plates that protect soldiers from enemy shell fragments.

"Our unit received bulletproof vests of the 4th class of protection from Metinvest Group, which we will really need on the front line in order to defend our country," said the serviceman of the Armed Forces of Ukraine with a code name “Teacher”. "They are very convenient and will help us perform combat missions set by our leadership. Bulletproof vests meet all international standards and protection classes. We hope that they will help us defeat the enemy. We will do our best to win".

It should be noted that as part of Rinat Akhmetov's Steel Front military initiative, the company provides soldiers with protective gear, drones, thermal imagers, shelters, vehicles, special equipment, etc. Since the beginning of the full-scale war, Metinvest has allocated over UAH 1.6 billion to the army.
