The  residents of Avdiivka are receiving humanitarian aid as part of the Saving Lives project, which Metinvest Group is implementing in coordination with the Rinat Akhmetov Foundation. The employees of Avdiivka Coke Plant deliver aid to the residents of the front-line town. Since the beginning of this week alone, Metinvest employees have delivered about 200 food packages to the shelters.

Avdiivka is under constant shelling by Russian troops. Despite the extremely difficult situation, more than two thousand people remain in the town. The employees of Avdiivka Coke Plant of Metinvest Group help the residents of the community in difficult times. Due to the targeted fire of the enemy, it is very dangerous to move around the town. But, in spite of everything, coke chemists, on their own initiative, are trying to deliver food packages to those who remained in the town. The aid is being delivered to the shelters.

"In difficult times, it is very important to feel the support of loved ones and friends. For Avdiivka, AKKhZ has always been and remains such a friend. Today, the residents of the community really need our support. Therefore, we continue to help the people who live in Avdiivka. Meanwhile, we deliver food packages, coal and firewood. We also communicate with the residents, find out what else there is a need for, and do our best to solve all domestic issues, at least for a while," noted Yuriy KTSYNENKO, General Director of AKHZ.

It is worth reminding that humanitarian aid from Metinvest Group is delivered to the Avdiivka community regularly. In total, since the beginning of the active phase of the war, the residents of Avdiivka have received about 20,000 food packages as part of the Saving Lives project.
