Good sign: A white stork has settled at Ingulets GOK

For a week, the employees of Ingulets GOK have been watching a stork that freely walks around the territory of the enterprise. At the end of April, the feathered guest flew to the flower bed near the plant's office and decided to stay there. The bird has immediately gained supporters and guardians who feed it with nutritious food. The employees of Ingulets GOK are unanimous in the opinion that their stork is a soothsayer of Victory.

Social networks and groups of Kryvyi Rih residents are full of photographs of the stork, which instead of nesting on a tree trunk has chosen Ingulets GOK. People admire the funny video of the stork playing with pebbles in a puddle or striding importantly past the main entrance to the plant's office. The sociable bird communicates well with people, allows you to take selfies with you and feels at home at the enterprise.

To make the beaked bird as comfortable and safe as possible, the good-natured employees of Ingulets GOK distributed the care of the bird among themselves. The workers of the maintenance service shop, for example, work overtime because they repair the stork's house. The care of food and care was taken over by the colleagues from the site responsible for the improvement of the territory of InGOK. They also gave the little bird a name. At first, he was Gosha, but due to his good appetite, the bird was quickly renamed Zhoryk.

"When he first flew to us, it was clear that the bird was exhausted and hungry. We quickly went to the fish shop and brought him Baltic herring. It was interesting to watch how he took a frozen fish with his beak, dipped it in a container of water and "bathed" it until it thawed. Then he ate. The next day, he was already meeting me with food, running towards me with spread wings. It also happened that the girls and I were pulling weeds in the flower bed, when Zhoryk came up and took the bucket from my hands with his beak, saying that it was enough to work. And how beautifully he dances and babbles, throwing back his head – cannot be described in words. It's a pleasure to watch him," says the main guardian of the stork Nelia PEKARSKA with warmth.

At the moment, the Ingulets stork is doing well. During the day he makes a leisurely walk around the territory, and at night he sleeps on the roof of the information and computing laboratory. The employees of Ingulets GOK consider this expedient, because at night the enterprise is often visited by a fox fed by people. Why the bird travels and does not nest in nature is unknown. The main thing is that the stork's instinct does not let him down in the autumn, when migratory birds will need to gather in warmer climes. If it does not fly, the Ingulets GOK employees will have to set up a winter hut for Zhoryk.
