To save lives: Ukrainian Armed Forces soldiers from the Zaporizhzhia sector received medical supplies

It was Metinvest that donated medical supplies to the military as part of the Rinat Akhmetov's Steel Front military initiative.

Recently, Ukrainian Armed Forces soldiers defending the Zaporizhzhya sector received another batch of aid from Metinvest. This time, medicines worth a total of UAH 350,000 were donated. The important cargo was handed over to the Defence Forces by Metinvest's Chief Operating Officer Oleksandr Myronenko as part of Rinat Akhmetov's Steel Front military initiative.

"Our soldiers risk their lives and health every minute to protect us and our entire country. And the provision of medicines is our opportunity to protect them in return. I am sure that these medicines will be useful for the guys on the front line and will definitely help them at the moment when they really need it," said Oleksandr Myronenko.

The aid provided included tourniquets and occlusive stickers - a special plaster to close wounds in the chest. It is they that will be able to save the lives of our soldiers even in case of serious injuries. According to the military, such support is extremely necessary, as prompt and properly provided medical care on the battlefield will save many lives of our defenders at the front line.

"Now our medics will be able to provide better care to every soldier who needs it. We will also be able to provide high-quality first aid in case of injury from shrapnel or a bullet. Every soldier's life is a step towards victory. I am very grateful to Metinvest for providing us with all these much-needed items," said a serviceman of the Ukrainian Defence Forces, nicknamed "Sky".

It is worth mentioning that since the beginning of the full-scale war, Metinvest has allocated more than UAH 2 billion to the needs of the Ukrainian army as part of the Steel Front. In addition to drones, charging stations, cars and other military equipment, the company also donates first aid kits and tourniquets. In total, more than 45,000 units have already been donated.
