Community amulet: symbolic Trident made by specialists of Metinvest's InGOK was installed in Shyroke village

On the occasion of the Constitution Day of Ukraine, a new patriotic symbol in the form of a golden trident on a yellow and blue background was unveiled in the centre of Shyroke village.  The authors of the design and manufacturing of the memorable sign were employees of the Ingulets Iron Ore Enrichment Works.

Shyroke community and Metinvest's InGOK have a long and fruitful partnership. For many years, the industrial enterprise has been actively involved in the development of infrastructure in the villages of Shyroke community, as the land of the community and the plant borders on each other. In addition, many families and generations of Shyroke residents have been working at Ingulets GOK. Therefore, the idea of creating a special symbol for the patriotic community was supported by the employees and they helped to implement it.

They started by creating a sketch that would reflect the main idea and harmoniously fit into the architecture of the central part of Shyroke. It was decided to combine the main elements of state symbols in the memorial sign: The State Coat of Arms and the Flag of Ukraine. After the community's approval, the specialists of InGOK's service department made drawings and proceeded to manufacture the product. They worked with metal, welded the three-dimensional trident structure, assembled the parts and designed it with great skill. The 3.5-metre-high Trident was installed on a concrete foundation, and Shyrokе residents planted around an evergreen juniper.

On the eve of the Constitution Day of Ukraine, the new patriotic location was inaugurated in the village. The opening ceremony was attended by representatives of the local community, the head of the district military administration Yevgen Sytnychenko, Shiroke village head Oleksandr Kokul  and representatives of Metinvest's Ingulets GOK. All those present honoured the memory of the fallen defenders of Shyroke community by laying flowers at the memorial.
