For more than four years of the full-scale war, Metinvest has continued to support Ukraine’s economy. In the first quarter of 2026, including associated companies and joint ventures, the Group paid UAH4.3 billion in taxes and duties to budgets at all levels in the county.
The three largest contributions were subsoil use fees, totalling UAH1.2 billion, the unified social contribution, at UAH823 million, and personal income tax, amounting to UAH727 million.
In addition, in January-March 2026, Metinvest’s Ukrainian enterprises paid UAH351 million in corporate income tax, UAH328 million in land fees, UAH331 million in value added tax and UAH207 million in military levies. Yuriy RYZHENKOV, CEO of Metinvest Group, said: “For 20 years, Metinvest has been working for Ukraine, and under all circumstances we have remained committed to a simple principle: to operate transparently and pay our taxes. War and crises may change the rules of the game, but not our responsibility to the country. Today, taxes are real support for the armed forces, healthcare and people. We will continue working to support the country now and prepare for its future recovery.”
In 2025, Metinvest paid UAH18.7 billion in taxes and duties to budgets at all levels in Ukraine. In total, over more than four years of the full-scale invasion, including the first quarter of 2026, the Group has contributed around UAH78 billion to support the country’s economy.
