Metinvest Group has been ranked among the top ten private taxpayers in Ukraine for 2025 by Delo.ua, maintaining its leading position in the metallurgy sector in terms of total tax contributions.
The ranking, which includes companies operating across all major sectors of Ukraine’s economy, was compiled based on the total amount of taxes paid in 2024. The Delo.ua editorial team independently assessed the real contribution made by private businesses, taking into account all taxes and levies: from corporate income tax and VAT to excise duties, the unified social contribution and the military levy.
According to the publication, the 100 companies featured in the ranking collectively paid more than UAH503 billion in taxes in 2024, representing around one-seventh of Ukraine’s consolidated budget revenues. In the first half of 2025 alone, they paid more than UAH270 billion, equal to around one-eighth of total budget income.
Metinvest ranked eighth overall, contributing UAH19.8 billion in taxes for 2024 and UAH9.3 billion for the first six months of 2025. For 2023, the Group’s total tax payments amounted to UAH14.61 billion.
Delo.ua noted a consistent trend of year-on-year growth in tax payments among the companies featured in the ranking, spanning all sectors of the economy.
Metinvest is the only representative of the metallurgical sector among the top ten taxpayers. For decades, the industry has remained one of the largest contributors to the state budget and an important source of foreign currency for Ukraine’s financial system. In total, six metallurgical companies were included in the 2025 ranking.
The top ten taxpayers also included tobacco companies Philip Morris Ukraine, BAT Ukraine, Imperial Brands Ukraine and JTI Ukraine; energy company DTEK Group; food retailer ATB Corporation; and fuel retailers OKKO, WOG and UPG.

Як пише видання, усі 100 компаній рейтингу у 2024 році сплатили понад 503 млрд грн податків, що становило сьому частину доходів зведеного бюджету України. За першу половину 2025 року сплачено понад 270 млрд грн, або близько восьмої частини доходів бюджету.
Метінвест посів восьму позицію в рейтингу, перерахувавши 19,8 млрд грн податків торік та 9,3 млрд грн – за перші шість місяців цього року. У 2023 році компанія сплатила 14,61 млрд грн податків.
Delo.ua зазначає, що зростання податкових платежів щороку є загальною тенденцією для компаній рейтингу й охоплює всі сектори економіки.
Метінвест – єдиний представник металургії в першій десятці рейтингу. Галузь десятиліттями залишається одним із головних наповнювачів держбюджету податками та джерелом валюти для внутрішнього фінансового ринку. Загалом до рейтингу потрапили шість металургійних компаній.
До першої десятки найбільших платників податків також увійшли тютюнові компанії Філіп Морріс Україна, BAT Україна, група «Імперіал Брендс» в Україні та JTI Україна, енергетична група ДТЕК, продовольчий ритейлер – корпорація АТБ і представники нафтового ритейлу – ОККО, мережа АЗК WOG та UPG.
