Dmytro Lyppa, who was previously in the position of HSE Director of Metinvest Group Operational Directorate, has been appointed General Director of PJSC "DNIPROVSKYI COKE PLANT".
Dmytro Lyppa has a large experience in mining and metallurgical industry. He has been working in Metinvest since 2007. Over that course of time, he has worked his way from specialist of strategy planning department, head of continuous improvement department of the Group metallurgical division to General Director of "METINVEST-SMC", LLC sales company. In this position, he strengthened the Group internal market power.
In 2019, Dmytro Oleksandrovych took the lead on Directorate for repairs of Operational Directorate, in February, 2021 he became HSE Director of Operational Directorate. With his participation, “Safe Working Space” system aimed at sustained reduction of injury level in the workplace was successfully implemented at Metinvest enterprises, the Company service and maintenance function efficiency was improved, maintenance personnel productivity was increased, quality of service rendered by the Group maintenance and repair enterprises was improved and the service list was expanded.
Dmytro graduated from Vadym Hetman Kyiv National Economics University, has a Master of Business Administration of IMD business school.
In the position of General Director of PJSC "DNIPROVSKYI COKE PLANT", Dmytro Lyppa will take the lead of the work aimed at ensuring effective performance of metallurgical and coke and by-product areas of the enterprise, its further development, operational efficiency improvement and revamping project implementation. Among the objectives of the new top manager, there is also introduction of Metinvest Group corporate culture and social program standards.
Yevhen Didus was appointed deputy General Director of PJSC "DNIPROVSKYI COKE PLANT". Oleksandr Podkorytov, a former Director of PJSC "DNIPROVSKYI COKE PLANT" metallurgical business unit, moved to the position of HSE Director of Metinvest Group Operational Directorate.
