Food packages will be received by different categories of the population.
The Rinat Akhmetov Foundation has been helping Ukrainians since the beginning of the anti-terrorist operation, since 2014. Since then, benefactors have handed over more than 13 million humanitarian kits. This support was intensified in 2022, when russia launched a full-scale invasion of Ukraine. Food boxes continue to be provided today, in particular in Zaporizhzhia. Since the beginning of this year, more than 3 thousand residents of Zaporizhzhia have received humanitarian aid from the Foundation.
"Currently, at Metinvest's Green Centre in Zaporizhzhia, single parents, guardians, large families and people with disabilities are receiving food packages from the Rinat Akhmetov Foundation . The kit includes all the necessary food: various types of cereals, pate, pasta, oil, canned meat, sugar, etc." says Yaroslav GROSHEV, manager of the public union of Metinvest's Green Centre in Zaporizhzhia.
This is not the first time that Ms. Svitlana, an internally displaced person from Orikhiv, has applied for help from the Rinat Akhmetov Foundation.
"I found out that it was possible to get such help back in 2022. I saw a message on social networks, came and received such a useful kit. There's really a lot of stuff here, and these products are a big help. We are very grateful to the Foundation for not leaving us alone in such difficult moments," says Svitlana ZALOZNA.
Yuliia Tokarieva also visited the Foundation. Together with her children in 2022, she left the front-line Mala Tokmachka. The woman is raising two children alone. She says that the Foundation's support is very important, especially for families with children.
"There are almost no people left in our village now, everything is broken. But we do not lose hope – we believe in Victory with all our hearts, that we will return home soon. The support of the Rinat Akhmetov Foundation also helps keep up our spirits. This is one of the few foundations that does not stop supporting – thank you for that!" says Yuliia TOKARIEVA.
