Metinvest Group supported the project of building a training ground for future law enforcement officers that currently study at the Donetsk State University of Internal Affairs. The company allocated UAH 1.9 million for the construction work.
Because of the war, the university was relocated to Kropyvnytskyi. The educators found a facility, whereas the ground for training future policemen needed improvement. Seeking aid, the university turned to Metinvest Group, which supported the initiative of creating a training ground. Project implementation was coordinated by NGO "Kryvyi Rih Foundation for the Future".
With the partners' support, grit and sand were supplied for the construction work, 250 running meters of edging and 400 running meters of road kerbs were layed down, 2.5 thousand square meters of block paving and a drainage system were installed.
"Metinvest Group has been consistent in supporting educational establishments in Ukraine for more than 10 years now. Such support has become even more dedicated during the full-scale war.
